Just passed into the Norma Expanse, and I am about halfway to where the void hearts are located. So far the journey has been smooth. I have been researching data taken on the octahedral pods and void hearts, based on what I have seen I already have several major hypothesis that I want to explore when I reach the strange organisms. On another note I figured out a name for my little copilot (tamandua from log#1), I am thinking Norma, after the Norma Expanse. It is strange to think, I don't know if this species has been this deep into the galaxy. I imagine it must only be us sapiens that have been this far, but who knows what companions other pilots have. Oh well, for now it is enough that I am not alone. I am trying to figure out how to retrofit a remlock suit to fit her in case of emergencies, like decompression of the bridge. Until I figure this out I will just fly safe.
