12 jumps to go. 11 . From my starting point to my destination I had to pass through some anarchic systems and my combat skills made me feel far from secure. It was a while since the last time I was involved in a fight or escaped an interdiction. So I jumped in hurry from one system to another. No matter how many jumps, no matter how many years, I will always believe that system beacons where placed uncomfortably close to a system's star. Not that they could be placed elsewhere, but the feel of a giant star approaching in immense speed, will always make me gasp. 10 jumps, scanning systems on the way. Finally I got there. [241 G. Aquarii]. [Gibson City]. As expected, all squadron commanders where scattered in the galaxy, but left a contact in the station with available new jobs.
