Today, I reported the discovery of seven systems and 67 planetary bodies to my contacts in Carthage. Hopefully, Imperial cartographers will be able to make use of the info, but me, I got three million credits to plan a vacation this week. I bought myself a new pair of boots and rented the cabin in Cemiess and I've arranged flower delivery and chocolates. I don't spend much time with my wife so I'm gonna make this trip count. The cabin overlooks a winter valley, has a volcanic hot spring nearby for the two of us and a state of the art kitchen and amenities.
She already knows about the trip but I've gotta go extra. It's my lot in life, to try for the extraordinary gesture.
It's amazing she's not gotten sick of me with my frequent trips out into the black.
I'm the luckiest woman in the bubble.
