ENTRY 1 - "We are all watching"

Starting as a trainee with the Federation was as fun as it was tough, earning a license as a commander. I immediately decided to apply to a superior faction, The Fatherhood. Being docked at Coelho Station just after I finished training was where I sat tight while communicating with INARA to get me recruited into the Fatherhood. Their assistance is outstanding.

After a long while of getting use to flight controls, supercruise and traveling, The Fatherhood notified me upon their home system, Hajangai. I decided to make my way there the next day. I did a few courier missions after arriving in the Dromi system. During my missions I conversed with members of The Fatherhood, working out a plan to get to Hajangai, receiving tips and learning more about a lot of things. I was docked at Mawson Starport while working on my expedition plan to Hajangai.

Gathering assets and credits for the expedition was quite dangerous, jumping into dangerous zones and star systems like where Mugkerjee Starport was, right in the cracks of a dangerous place. For probably the second time I almost burned away my sidewinder, getting use to supercruise and hyperspace. While finishing my last mission, Heimdall, an elite Fatherhood member, told me that he could send a carrier to pick me up. I immediately accepted the suggestion, knowing that alone, I probably would have taken years.

The fifteen minute wait for the carrier to arrive was no problem, but the conflict of permits and jumping to unpermitted systems became quite the problem in the long run. Heimdall couldn't enter Orna, a system mandatory of a permit of some sort, preventing the carrier from jumping in. i was requested to jump to Beggle, a distant system about Seven jumps from Orna. I filled up my fuel tank at Mugkerjee and left for Beggle, I was sure I could make the seven jumps. I jumped to the Otegine system, wanting to ump to the ext destination, but something was wrong with my hyperdrive, I couldn't jump. Being positive I was stuck, my mentor relieved me by directing me to an asteroid station, Aldrich Station. It is an industrial place, probably for mining. So I refeuled at Aldrich Station and left my stop to the next destination on my route to Beggle.

I jumped a few times, having 2 jumps left, being left with bare minimum feul in the Samequit System, an unexplored system with no starports or bases. I was relieved when I heard that the carrier that needed to meet me at beggle could jump into Samequit, since I couldn't jump further to beggle... waiting in suspense as my resources slowly depleted... the carrier was about fifteen minutes away... a lot of people on the communications system waited eagerly, watching how the labeled "rescue mission" was unfolding. It was scary being lost in deep space, more suspenseful having minimum resources.

Strangely enough, Heimdall wanted to suggest going to Samequit for the pickup, but it looked further away from where I was (his pov). My feul reserves was at 10% and I stressed for my life. It felt like a lifetime when Heimdall notified me that the carrier was eght minute away, I was almost certain i'd die. Dave Burn on the communications platform hilariously added to my stress by saying, "you get at least 5 minutes of oxygen when the feul runs out". I laughed at the matter.

I asked them for ways to spare feul, and they advised me to turn off certain modules of the ship. It helped a lot. If this event had a slogan... it would be Heimdall's words last night: "This is more tense than the re-entry scene Apollo 13" Which ultimately became the reference of this entry.

Boy ow relieved I was when Heimdall said the carrier has arrived... It was all cheers and joy when I docked, feeling honoured when Natasha said "are we having a street party when he is rescued". My mentor was eagerly watching as everyone was suppose t be in bed. Dave was more awake then he was killing pirates too.

Now, it was just the docking... Natasha gave a hard salute and Heimdell threatened self harm if I died trying to dock, and I was hella careful.

"I am coming"

Natasha: "Don't panic"

Dave Burn: 'You're cleared for approach"

Natasha: * sends nervous gif *

Heimdall: "The carrier will jump back to Hajangai in 14 minutes, please be on it!"

Me: "everything will be perfect"

Natasha: "Looks like I took a wrong week to quit drinking"

Me: "I am autodocking!"

Dave Burn: "The Eagle has landed"

Natasha: "Son of a gun actually did it"

Heimdell: * dramatic sobbing gif *

Stanton (My mentor): " happy af"

Natasha: * pops champagne bottle * "so many perfect gifs for this lol"

Me: 'omg I feel so honoured'

Natasha: "prepare for his arrival"

Me: "WAIT I HAVE TO REDOCK!! I DISCONNECTED"

Everyone, " oh no"

Natasha: "The Suspense is terrible"

Dave Burn: "WHAAAAT!"

My Mentor: "NOOOOOO"

Me: 'Okay I have docked" (5 minuted before carrier left)

Natasha: * celebrates again *

Dave Burn: "Awe Hells Yeah, Congrats"

Dave: "I'm thinking we should all line up for his arrival at Schwan Tommorow"

Me: "Omg i am so relieved"

The carrier left with me successfully and I was rescued, this literally took about 3 hours and it was an amazing experience, as it was a suspenseful one. I am ever so grateful for the people who supported me and helped me along the way.
