Colonia

"Docking successful, engines disengaged," my ship's AI Archer confirms as the engines whirr down and its landing struts touch down on the landing pad.

Finally, I've made it to this far off place some Commanders call home. And it's unexpected that some person would even have the guts to stay here for a living. Don't get me wrong, the sky here is gorgeous. After all, this station's inside a nebula, enchancing the already pretty view. But what do they call this place? Colonia: a "mini bubble" you could name it. A Bubble that's over twenty-two thousand light years from the main Bubble. This isint Shinrarta Dezhra, though. It's not Sol or Fisher Terminal from Okirnura where I was raised. This is Jaques Station.

While the landing pad sinks into the station I give my hands a well needed moment to breathe, placing them on my laps in victory as I let go of my Phantom's controls. A deep sigh refuels me a bit after a massive step in my journey to Beagle Point. My next stop is the suppermassive black hole at the Milky Way's center: Sagitarrius A*. But before I take a break and a drink or two at the bar, I have to turn in all my exploration data. I press my hand on the 'station services' tab of the hologram in front of my ship's radar, and a screen representing all of what the station can offer and do for me is shown as a large hologram. I selected the 'universal catographics' tab, and a big list of all the data I've colected appears. All the water worlds, all the biological and geoligical discoveries and much more will be turned in to this station for analysis. I accept and turn in all of it without hesitation, and the station gives me quite a large amount of credits for my efforts in exploration, around 48 million.

After riding the neutron highway and discovering a lot of intersting things out in the endless black it's about time to take a break. Stretch my legs before I feel like my spine's surgically attactched to my command chair.

I begin walking down my ship's landing gear and scan this seemingly new enviroment, but the hangar looks exactly like good ol' Jameson Memorial. I step down the last of the landing gear's stairs and hear the metal clang under my boot and I tell myself 'It's good to be in civilized space again.' I turn to my left to find the large, rectangular open door every station possesses, and for some odd reason this one beckons me the most to get some R & R unlike others I've been to, and I obviously listen to the call for rest. I dash towards the door, stopping right at it's enterance to look at my Krait Phantom that looks wonderful despite it's paint wearing down. "Well, Barnard, we made it to Colonia," I say, placing my fists around my waist. My eyes dart around my ship's hull, and a sense of pride hits me. A smile on my face and a slight chuckle radiates a feeling of relief. "Im actually here. Colonia."

After a time of bonding with a ship and it's Commander, I run towards the elevator doors. The cylindrical doors open, and I enter the elevator. The doors then close, taking me up into the station's main quarters. After some time, the doors open yet again, and I can finally see human life again.
