Elixnie's Log | On the Edge of Everything - June 12th, 3307

So I took some time off.I always talked about how I needed time away from everything, so here I am. Writing this log from - what I'm calling the Galaxies Hat. Two days ago, my wing and I decided to head to Sagittarius A* because, truth be told I've never been outside the Inner Orion Spur. We made a few stops along the way too! First up was a Wolf Rayet star - They're basically stars in the process of dying, so they're throwing out a bunch of really pretty colors. At least that's the only part I'm worried about. (I'll attach a bunch of pictures at the bottom) We also checked out a bunch of anomalies and even some biological life! Anomalies are wild - some are like concentrated balls of energy that somehow react to my ships proximity, some do absolutely nothing, just glow. Regardless - Anything that manages to survive in vac is beyond me. And finally, after multiple FSD repairs, hundreds of jumps and 26 thousand Lightyears later - I made it to Explorer's Anchorage. Honest, I haven't actually seen the big black hole yet for a reason I'll go into later. But I did manage to nab something even better... I think.
So like I mentioned I'm with Zefiro - and my wingmates Crossroads and Yeetington. Oh right I forgot to mention we came up with a name, since we kinda do everything together. Our wing is called Zefiro 3. So for all future references of Zefiro - you know what I'm on about - Dear Reader. We started at Jackson's Lighthouse and used the conveniently placed Neutron Star to slingshot our journey. On the edge of the Inner Orion Spur was the Wolf Rayet star so that's where we took a break. I couldn't raise Leo on comms and we kinda had a timetable to keep so Yeet and I set out. About half way through the Inner Scutum-Centaurus Arm I got a message from Leo saying he was gonna head straight to Anchorage. It sounded like he had been crying. I might talk to him about it. But I am not writing this log from Explorer's Anchorage.
Leo fell behind and I had alittle over a day to myself. So I decided to stay at the center of the galaxy, but go straight down. And so I did! I travelled around three thousand lightyears straight down. My goal was to be able to look at the entire Milky Way. And I think It turned out pretty good. Once I publish this I'll head back but for right now I think I'll just relax, looking at the history of everything. Almost everything. In fact I've been doing nothing but thinking for the past few days. Distance makes voice comms unusable and I can only talk with my wingmates via text, so I've had basically 2 straight days to think - and think I did. I didn't come up with anything. Just reflected on my life, my exploits. The people I've helped, the things I've done. And Travelling to the center of the Galaxy should put things into perspective. At least I hoped It would. But sitting here now in my quarters, I don't feel any different. Maybe I'm expecting too much, maybe I need sleep. Sleep sounds great right now.
I'll attach the pictures here. I think I got some really good ones!
