Life Onboard the "Cannon Challenge" Carrier
30 Mar 2021Seta IV
Sitting inside the cockpit of my ASP Explorer (Point Auriga), I look over and see it's been sixteen days since I started traveling with the "Khonsu" XLF-5XY Fleet Carrier. I'm exploring about 900 LY away from it at the moment. I'm reminiscing on the first few days getting acquainted with new users. Eventually I made a habit of posting my best finds in a picture gallery that could be seen by everyone. The Captain must have liked what he saw because I was offered a position as a Scout. My mandate was to seek out Points-of-Interest on this voyage around the Milky Way and present my findings to the rest of the passengers. After about a week, I placed a bid to be selected to be an Officer. Other officers had 8 hours ahead of me due to the timezone, I counted myself keen on noticing. Low and behold- I was selected by the Captain. To this day I continue to seek out interesting worlds and stellar phenomenon in service of our passengers. I think back to my experience as it first started.
In the span of a week, I saw myself looking at magnificent sites near the bubble of civilized space. Chatting with others onboard the ship's official Discord was nice too. I'm looking forward to the rest of our journey which will end sometime in August.
For the time being, here are some standout systems. About three of which really made this a worthwhile trip, aside from good company aboard the Khonsu
- BD-17 3140
- HD 78344
- Statue of Liberty Sector LX-T b3-2
In any case, this is Seta IV signing off now. Flying silently to the next star system.
