Bolg Anti-Piracy Campaign

Commander's Log, 4th of October 3307.It's been a few weeks since I started the Bolg Anti-Piracy campaign, running between Moxon's Mojo and the compromised navigational beacon at the star to exterminate the threat of the Bolg Rats. With the Frostfair Blade's equipment and armament, running through the pirates' armour and shields was a breeze, but I was unaware of the sheer amount of numbers the pirates had among them.
When I started this fruitful campaign, I had a total of 2500 bounties claimed, according to my record at the Pilot's Federation, and I held the rank of Competent. Now, at the end of my campaign, I have almost doubled that amount, and I hold the rank of Combat Elite - a far cry from where I started. The worst part? I don't think I even made a dent in the forces of the Bolg Rats. They just keep on infesting their usual space, undeterred by my nigh-on genocide of their forces. In fact, I believe I have killed the same pilots multiple times. Does this hive of scum and villainy have access to telepresence technology like I do, or are there other forces at play here?
Either way, as my campaign bears no fruit other than that of experience, I will halt it and return to my station on the Xiwangmu's Longevity. My duties in Alchemy Den will likely call on me soon enough.
