Cyd 'Wiz Cyd' Icarus is the Chief Engineer of the A.D.S.S. Dragon Dance. He maintains a large portion of Commander Feonix's armada, as well as coordinating the other engineering staff aboard the carrier. He was given the nickname 'Wiz Cyd' by Feonix, as a nod to his unfortunate name given to him in combination with his technological wizardry - after all, integrating modifications from over a dozen specialised engineers is no small feat.
Icarus was born to a slave couple on Achenar in 3280. Growing up, it was apparent that he had a talent for tinkering with things, a feat his parents promoted. As such, his parents worked themselves even further into the imperial indentured servitude system, all in order to send Icarus to the best schools they could reasonably afford - and he did not disappoint, rising to the top of his class every time, and graduating his engineering academy with full honours. After this, he was sent to work off his - and his parents' - debt at Tiana Fortune's workshop. It was here, in July of 3307, that he met Commander Feonix, who, in recognition of his talent, paid off the CR5,000 debt in full, in exchange for his voluntary service aboard the newly commissioned A.D.S.S. Dragon Dance carrier. To this day, he serves that position proudly.
