Rushing back to help my princess.

It's the end of March 3309 and humanity is in a bloody second war against the Thargoids now and it doesn't look good at all. Several star systems have fallen to the Thargoids and it doesn't look like we can stop them any time soon. The Marauders Vanguard with their home deep in the Pleiades are feeling the pressure to help AXI and all other factions in their effort to win this but war fatigue is something that every soldier has to deal with one way or an other. For I'm not that much of a fighter and have always been more of a supporter on the sideline, I took it on me to search for any signs of the Thargoids in other parts of the galaxy and specifically the southern regions. To do this I joined the "4th Quadrant Expedition Leg #1 Outer Spiral" lead by CMDR Luciano Kalabric.
After loading my relevant ships onto the Calangos 2 and sending my own fleet carrier back to Warwal, the expedition departed from "54 Ceti" on the first of February 3309. The expedition slowly tracked down south towards the southern arm of the Galaxy. We visited several locations where history of our galaxy was written like the Anaconda's Graveyard.
Around the 15th of March we reached "Arms End" at Hypau aec IO-Z d13-0. By this time the density of the stars was so thin that a lot of jumponium was being used by me to reach all the places I wanted to go. This also meant that, at some point, I needed to get some more materials so I would not run out of some of the important materials, but after some decent work at some planets with geothermal activity I was happy with the results and felt comfortable to start my slow journey back to the bubble. During large parts of the trip I had opted to jump myself and just wait for the carrier at the different preset locations. This worked fine for me and gave me the opportunity to search for the signals that I was still silently hoping or fearing to find. But so far the only real proof of Thargoids were the sensor probes that were located is systems with Ammonia worlds etc.
For I'm now on the way back and confident that i will make it back without having to resort to the jumps of the Fleet Carrier, I tell the crew not to wait for me but just to continue, but then I receive some disturbing news that is forwarded to me through my friends in the Marauders Vanguard. My daughter has made it clear to everyone around her that she wants to go after her father. Having nothing more then just a sidewinder she got for getting here pilot license she has left home and took on an alias so she wouldn't look too much like a little girl on a mission. The Vanguards notified me that she send in her application and thinking that she was at least in save hands then I told them to accept her. But then I realized I could not do much more then start my long journey back to the bubble so I could at least help her if she really wants this ........
