Commander's Log: 6 September, 3302: A Spanish Galleon

After fitting the Paladin with the best I could get (with the exception of military grade armor), I still had quite a bit of credits left over so I decided to make another great leap forward in my career. I bought my first Python.
Though both ships have the same maneuverability rating I can almost feel the weight in the Python, and strangely enough, it's quite satisfying. It has also been a long time since I had a capable trading vessel, so the excess cargo capacity has also been quite nice. Naturally she also has plenty of fearsome weapons fitted as well, so I feel more comfortable flying her than I would in a T-7. Because of this, I have decided to name her the Galleon, an ancient vessel famous for its talent in both combat and trade.
Now that I have a sufficient trading vessel, I have started working on another important aspect in the merchant trade: creating profitable routes. I have already had a nice gold and silver route for awhile, but now I wish to see what it is like hauling rare goods from place to place, as I have heard it it quite the profitable venture.
