Greetings fellow readers of my logbook entries.

4 months into this year, yet this is the first CMDR's log. Talk about great timing.

Let me cut straight to the current operation taking place as I'm writing this. I am really excited to share this news.

Ever since I put Destiny Ascension in active duty and got assigned a role of DSSA, my dream was to be more than just a sanctuary in deep space. Of course, a CMDR cannot own or run a station in this reality, at least not an individual. It is all regulated by squadrons who are orientated by their own motivations, ideals, certain powerful folks who are a part of one of three big factions which we all know of. You get the point. CMDR owned bubbles of deep space are getting popular with the introduction of fleet carriers. However, there's a catch. One fleet carrier per CMDR, so you are limited by this decision. That is why CMDR owned bubbles usually have more than just 1 CMDR. Communities, certain groups and teamwork gets things done.

Now, given enough time, credits and dedication, the creativity of CMDRs in general is unlimited. Depending on how far are you willing to go to get things done, depends on how well you know your working environment, connections, stations, tricks, other CMDRs who are willing to help you and in the end, knowing yourself and your own limits. It was a challenge that required everything mentioned above for what I'm about to share with you. I'd be lying if I told you I did everything on my own. I couldn't have done this all by myself. What is this "everything" I just mentioned?

Well, here it goes...

I mentioned creativity. A perfect example would be the Deep Space Support Array. Just observe what was the original idea behind such an initiative and now look at what exactly was achieved. There are many examples out there which stand out and DSSA is one of them. Me and CMDR Rick Floss had known each other for over a year now and we have come a long way from how it started with two of us getting in contact with each other with me selling Tritium from DSSA Destiny Ascension to CMDR Rick Floss for his journey back to human space. Sometime later, he would help me refuel DSSA Destiny Ascension and DSSA Support Vessel many times and I have many, MANY thanks for his dedication to helping me out. After many conversations and genuine, original ideas on how to make deep space "a safe place" for exploring CMDRs out there be it a normal ship or a fleet carrier, an idea which stood out the most was forming a service for saving stranded fleet carriers in deep space, something similar to Fuel Rats, but for fleet carriers. Alongside this idea was also to establish deep space depots at certain areas with a certain operational range for each assigned deep space fleet carrier. The perfect candidates were DSSA FCs, me included with being the first to volunteer. Long story short, we got into contact with FCOC and S.T.A.R. - Strategic Tritium & Rescue was quickly established. Still in the making, we invited DSSA Initiative to help us out and the DSSA council decided to take part. Weeks later, certain rules, guides and guidelines were created, folks are assigned different roles of hauler, depot, rescue, resupply. We are still in the making and require CMDRs, but hopefully we will soon be done and good to go. Keeping in mind, this is a community driven initiative. There are many obstacles which we need to clear, but things are going as planned. We are organized and will succeed.

Now, the idea of creating a bubble in deep space at DSSA Destiny Ascension was put on the paper and after many edits in details and planning, the plan was set. The plan was to introduce 8 new fleet carriers which would serve as cargo haulers while the trip lasts, after that they would be permanently fixed into position for storing Tritium and future redistribution for passing fleet carriers or other S.T.A.R. Tritium depots. It was quite simple, get the 8 FCs, get them filled with Tritium and 69 jumps later, permanently anchored at DSSA Destiny Ascension. In CMDR's logs before, I have mentioned DSSA Support Vessel. It has been modified and turned into a cargo hauler as well and will serve the same purpose just like the other 8 fleet carriers. DSSA Destiny Ascension went through refits and now has more modules at the cost of cargo space and bigger maintenance upkeep costs. The description of Destiny Ascension has been updated.

I have split the ongoing operation into 5 phases.

- Phase 1 - Introduce 8 new CMDRs. Each CMDR invested a lot of time and credits into purchasing a fleet carrier, after which each FC owner transferred the ownership of these fleet carriers to me. Phase 1 was complete.

- Phase 2 - Obtaining more credits for future market transactions. Fortunately, that phase was done quickly. Phase 2 was mostly complete.

- Phase 3 - Acquiring Tritium for all 8 fleet carriers. After getting in contact with The Tritium Monkeys and using my connections, I managed to get a decent price for their services of hauling Tritium from an orbiting station to these fleet carriers. This one goes for them, great folks and service, always a pleasure doing business with them and will continue to do so. Phase 3 was mostly complete.

- Phase 4 - Jump each fleet carrier from The Bubble to Scheau Blao TB-A c28-274 (DSSA Destiny Ascension). EASIER SAID THAN DONE. Phase 4 is still underway.

- Phase 5- Once all fleet carriers are in place, the refuel operations can begin. That would be the final phase of this operation and everything should be set and good to go.

Safe to say, I'm currently at Phase 4 of the operation, with 1 fleet carrier missing due to... eh... a challenge, hence why some phases are mostly complete. Should be announced soon, publicly. Once all fleet carriers are in place and have been refueled, DSSA Destiny Ascension alongside its additional fleet carriers would have ~240.000 tonnes of free space, which will be used for Tritium. Shuttle service coming to and from Destiny Ascension might also be established, but one thing at a time.

I'm about to become a Deep Space Tritium Hub, one of its kind out there. I am proud of myself and I should be. It was a long journey, but I have yet to complete it. I'm almost there and I'm not going to stop. It is worth it. More updates coming soon, but each entry will be a topic of its own.

o7 to all CMDRs out there reading this. I hope you are all doing good. Stay safe.

CMDR V4KY out.
