STARLOG 3307-001 (GETTING STARTED)

Getting started... This is my first entry... It has been about 2 weeks since I set off from my home planet. Over the past few weeks, I have managed to amass a small fleet of spacecraft. Nothing fancy, though I have managed to get ahold of a ASK Explorer and a Krait MKII. Both of which I have outfitted as transporters at the moment. I took to trading much quicker then asteroid mining (I definitely see a lucrative future in the latter)
I have managed to meet three other pilots starting out on their journey as well. CMDR PsychoPuppet, CMDR LeanHail, and CMDR SomeFreeBacon. We met up while flying some missions for the pilots Federation, but we quickly grew hungry to explore and make money. I cannot speak for the other two, but my need for money is to fuel my desire to Explore and find a little corner of the galaxy to call my own. I have to be careful though, without proper training, experience, and Lady Luck it will be very easy for one to lose everything and end up on the wrong side of the Slave Trades... I must do whatever it takes not to end up in with this fate.
Today, I left Davy Station in the 4740 Cassiopeia System to Daley Port in the Tjapakh System. There my Krait MKII was prepped for storage and transport. I walked over to my ASP Explorer which had been waiting at the station, the crew chief at the dock was signaling all anchor poinbts were free, and Tower Control was giving me the green light to taxi out.
*The ASP has been retrofitted with some pretty expensive and high tech gear allowing her to do over 30ly jumps. This became quite practical when needing to travel to further away stations where I would set up shop and have my larger slower hauler shipped to me.
