Well... a billion and a quarter credits later and here I am. Stuemeae FG-Y d7561, better known as "that place where Explorers Anchorage is." The most amusing thing? I came here before, making 60LY jumps all the way from the bubble, stopping off to scan every body of every system is jumped to on the way. Mapping what I knew was valuable and getting my first Elite rank - in exploration, obviously. Why am I here again? The first trip was meant to be the only one - an epic undertaking that was planned from the last time I left Mawson Dock and the safety of those starting Pilots Federation systems, to meet my friend Y4urie (Y-4-you-ree). We were both small time then, thinking we were hot shit with our starting ships.
My little sidewinder "Papernick" and his Viper mk3 meeting in Bestii for that first time, landing on the edge of a canyon and buzzing past each other at Mach 1. That really awoke something in me.
We discussed going to Sagittarius A*, a "rite of passage" of supreme undertaking, and now I am finally here... again. This time however, not alone. I am looking forward to finally visiting the centre, no I didn't look the last time I was here. We made an agreement, a pact, and I won't (and didn't) break it.
The journey back here was a lot quicker than the one when I left; a LOT quicker than my original journey here - who'd have thought that the Neutron Super Highway would have off an hour and a half?
It is time for me to go, I just got the message from y4urie and it is time. I wonder how it will feel, knowing that it has all come to this?
