5-10-07Finally acquired the midshipman rank required to gain access to the engineer known as "Sarge". One can only hope he's more clever with weapons than he is with choosing pseudonyms.
I feel as if I've been living in a monkey's cage these last few months. It's tempting to call the federal troops Neanderthals. But Neanderthals were the pinnacle of human evolution in their day. Federals are only marginally more cognizant the average chimp. I can't wait to return to my ship and scrub the stench from my skin. I would burn the uniform, but it may be useful in the future.
