Press Release: OASV Capitulates in Kamuy - Arch-Marshal Praises Arbor Caelum

Origami Aerospace Industries suffered a catastrophic collapse in their political structure last week due to joint efforts by Arbor Caelum and supplementing coalition forces. This morning CMDR Antraeon was briefed on the situation by 1st Company KSR leadership, whom had been operating alongside the expanded ARCM-led coalition since September of last year. The Arch-Marshal, having officially withdrawn Ken'Tarii military support in November due to internal preparations for their annual "Christmas in Colonia" expedition, admonished his staff for conducting an expeditionary operation without his direct approval; Despite his initial grievance of not being consulted, CMDR Antraeon nonetheless offered his praises to the officers for representing the squadron abroad.Conflict between OASV and THKI first began as a result of OASV pilots attacking Ken'Tarii CMDRs during the Colonia-Bridge community goal series. CMDR Kamakazee Turtle, whom had since retired from THKI, was expected to maintain his position within the Top 10 CMDRs. This would have ensured his namesake and that of his supporting squadron would be enshrined on a Colonia tourist beacon; Due to OASV's unrestricted warfare, he was not able to maintain his position in the community goal listings and fell short. In the week directly following the CG, the Arch-Marshal officially declared war against OASV and mobilized fleet-carriers to the Kamuy system. The officers which maintained the offensive after the orders to withdraw in November claim that a ceasefire was never negotiated, and continued to work alongside a growing allied coalition against the rogue Kamuy-based regime.
With the withdrawal of THKI's fleet-carriers and squadron members from Kamuy and the surrounding systems finally completed, the region has seen a rapid re-stabilization under ARCM's guidance. The Arch-Marshal expressed his interest in discussing more formal cooperation with Arbor Caelum, citing the excellent degree of professionalism and restraint the group has exercised in its projection of power as a proponent of regional peace and stability. "Efforts to make the transition to peacetime like theirs (ARCM's) should be praised and replicated wherever possible, as it is not an easy thing to do," claimed Retainer-Marshal Unrelentingloki. "Human and Ken'Tarii peoples alike need to work in unison against the growing Thargoid threat, and decisive victory over groups like OASV is only half of that battle."
Official discussions between THKI and ARCM leadership are unlikely to take place before the Eta Carinae expedition planned in April, but upon the expedition's return are likely to begin shortly thereafter. It is anticipated that CMDR Antraeon may appoint a dedicated foreign minister to assist negotiations, or oversee external diplomacy with his upcoming absence from civilized space.
