Hawkins Gap - again

Can't help but think there is a reason those outposts were placed there. There are NO habitable or terraformable planets in the systems, or close by for that matter. I understand the outposts had to be placed on non-atmosphere worlds for game mechanics, but shouldn't there something interesting nearby?Heading back to the area to continue to search all systems around the outposts. Have already explored up to 40ly on a direct path from the outposts back to Humanity and an extensive area to the "north" (near the neutron star). A smaller area to the "south" has been minimally explored.
Carrier has returned to the Delta site. Will meet with the carrier to sell of all the collected data and refuel it. With the latest news from the Bubble about a possible new FSD being developed I'll send Ark Royal back towards the Bubble. She won't make the entire journey on one load of fuel so I will have to meet up with her to transfer, again.
After she departs I'll continue exploring the area "below" the outposts and then turn towards the Bubble, possible taking the "high" road this time.
