High above the plane

I continue my journey toward the galactic centre, but in a very roundabout manner. I found myself drawn to some of the beautiful nebulae that can be seen en route.I head to the Trifid Nebula and watch the purple sky:
I intend to head to the Traikaae region to check out a nice looking nebula, but find myself getting distracted by the discovery of numerous Neutron Stars up above the plane of the galaxy. This drives me to collect materials for a Level 3 FSD Injection, because the stars are so far apart. I need to make jumps of 75-90 LY in an AspX that can 'only' jump 49 LY!
I was prospecting for Yttrium on one planet, and then *DISASTER*! I accidentally drive my SRV off a cliff and destroyed it! That meant I was stuck in a star system with no way to progress any further. All my current FSD injections could manage at the time was Level 2, which was enough to get me back down to the galactic plane, and head toward the Traikaae nebula. I did achieve a nice view of the galaxy from overhead though:
So, now my plot toward the galactic centre needs to change - I'm re-charting my course to take me to Jaques station, where I can re-supply, and re-stock with a new SRV so I can collect sufficient materials to attempt a high (or low) plane trek and find more neutron stars.
