EXPLORATION LOG - 001
_____________________

I am starting these logs at about the halfway point of my trip so far. Only recently have I even decided to start making the logs anyway. I am also, for now, going to keep track of the distance I have traveled in light-years (LY), as well as keep track of all water worlds (WW), Earth-like worlds (ELW), and terraformable worlds (TF) I find along the way.

Total LY: N/A
Total Jumps: N/A
WW: N/A
ELW: N/A
TF: N/A

Decided to take a little road trip back toward the Colonia systems to map out some extra waypoints and POIs for fun, and decided to stop by the Collection of Wonders, it was my second time there, and let me tell you, I still get amazed seeing that M-class red dwarf star with those amazing rings, not to mention the inner icy rings of the neutron star that spin extraordinarily fast! I got a nice little video I will upload to the log when I have finished writing, as well as a neat little picture I took while I was in the rings of that red dwarf.

While I was out there I also decided to take a visit to the nearby nebula, I was curious and decided to flick on the galaxy map and sort for human civilization and found a system with a mere 10,000 people living it in. Upon arrival, I found a planetary colony called "Sacaqawea Space Port" and the 33rd megaship on the Colonia Connection Highway named the "Jewel of Pirigen". The Colonia Connection Highway is a project that Brewer Corporation is undertaking, wishing to make travel between the Bubble and Colonia much easier and safer. I decided to dock at the megaship first just so I could check it out, they sold some pretty decent stuff, module wise that is, everything else they sold for commodities was hydrogen fuel and biowaste. But the real jewel of the trip so far was that planetary port, located right in the middle of a dark red nebula, orbiting a blood-red gas giant while shrouded in the darkness of night, lets just say it was one hell of a place to call a base camp for the night. I decided to take a drive around the place in my SRV, stopping by the bar for a nice beer before going back to my ship to hit the sack and sleep, it was a long day of travel. My next destination on this trip will be the 34th Colonia Connection Highway megaship, "Hotel Canonnia", named by the people I work with, the Canonn Interstellar Research group.

Logging off for the night, fly safe CMDRs, o7.
