I finished up gathering data for Canonn, shooting for gold this season. Managed to get roughly 1,000,000,000 credits which should get us around 500,000,000 points for the goal. Found a lot of interesting stops along the way but got too worn out to write a log anymore, so now, around a month or two after finishing the expedition, I am here and writing about what I remember from that trip.

Colonia: After the horrible experience on CB-35 I decided to head straight to Colonia, I may have made a stop along the way I don't remember but I do remember Colonia. Once I reached there I went straight to Arcanonn's Legacy, a planetary port in the Canonnia system which neighbors Colonia. There I sold about a page of my data for some more quick credits, I think the page was around 50,000,000 total. Chatted with some Canonn members while I was there and got in a quick holopresence call about a job opportunity when I got back to the Bubble, which I have been working on recently and what has kept me so busy for so long. After that I went to Colonia and docked at Jaques Station, all I remember there was getting really drunk and waking up in my ship, seriously don't know how I got there but I did. Took a few visits to other notable areas around Colonia before I decided to part ways and head toward Sagittarius A*.

Undiscovered Black Hole: Along my way to Sagittarius A* I visited two black holes, one was in an incredible nebula which upon entering the black hole system at the center, was an amazing blue. I sadly wasn't the first to discover this though. Continuing on my route I invited a bored friend over on holopresence so he could see some stars with me and we joked around about "throwing him into a black hole" which led to me warping into a stunning system. The system was a trinary star system, with the black hole orbiting a binary pair of blue and white main sequence stars. I was shocked to see I was the first person to ever be there and it was even more rewarding to know after a year of exploring I finally discovered an undiscovered black hole. Me and my friend messed about a bit with the gravitational lensing before warping on and continuing to Sagittarius A*.

Sagittarius A*: Sagittarius was exactly how I remember it, truly stunning. I never understood how people get "disappointed" when they see Sagittarius A* for the first time. It's just insane how this is at the center of our galaxy, a massive singularity that after so many years of research we still don't know much about. Of course, I also stopped at Explorer's Anchorage nearby Sagittarius A* and tried calculating my cartographic data, however, whenever I tried to load the next page I would overload the servers and get kicked out with an error message. Eventually, they had to send someone to tell me to cut it out because I kept doing it and it wasn't helping.

Above the Galactic Plane: While out at Sagittarius A* my buddy and I decided that instead of going straight home, we should head straight up. I can't say I regret it though because the view was stunning, seeing the top of the entire galaxy was something my brain couldn't comprehend. We enjoyed the sights and I decided to land on a planet up there somewhere, had a drink of coffee, and called it a night. I remember this only because it was one of the most peaceful nights of sleep I think I've ever had while exploring. Something was just so soothing about it.

Going Home: After visiting above the galaxy, I had nowhere else to go but home. I decided that I would split the route in two, going back to Hotel Canonnia and then a straight shot back home. The journey was rather uneventful, filled with the normal D-Scanner, FSS, System-map, and go-type ordeals. I enjoyed it though, it was a chance for me to go back out exploring for a little and have a legitimate reason to at that.

And that's it, that's all I have for this data gathering expedition. Took me around two/three weeks to finish and every second it was pretty damn interesting. There's always more to find, more to explore, and more to discover. Talk again soon CMDRs, good luck, and fly safely.
