Took a whopping 1 jump to reach the first system, I know, impressive.

What is truly impressive however is the 2 Notable Stellar Phenomena which reside within Alaunus. The first of which housing peculiar... entities? anomalies? Not entirely sure. They are strange glowing spheres that seem to migrate around the site, agitating when approached and emitting pulses of extremely violent electricity. They are green in color and have no distinct features, just a slowly moving ball of particulates. Scans label these as 'Q-09 Type Anomalies'

The second site held the same anomalies but also massive metallic crystalline structures, as well as solid mineral spheres. Scans indicated both structures are made of massive colonies of ancient microbial life. The deathly silence of this site with my engines throttled to 0 is only interrupted by the slow creaking and crackling of these colonies. This system has proven to be quite interesting. If it is a sign to what's coming then I can see the expedition being very, very interesting indeed.

Scans of planetary bodies in this system yielded minimal results at best. Nothing worth scanning or diverting course for. Plotting route to HIP 15310.
