So here i am, on the Principium, this old hunk of junk is about the only thing i have left of my old life. Managed to finish my dad's last delivery of those auto fabricators to the surface, honestly I thought the ship was going to break up on entry to the atmosphere! Last week of owning the ship I've been flying from the station to the surface on local sensors and drives alone, took me 3 days for a trip that normally takes a couple hours, and Hells it was boring!. luckily found my dad's login to the ships computers before the way back, so can now use the Nav data for the frame shift drive. Supercruised back to station. Won't be making THAT mistake again.
Landed myself a few credits for the delivery, though i think the run may actually not be as profitable as i first thought. Enough to pay for another week's docking at Bursch though, including living expenses if I don't go too extravagant and the ship doesn't break.....which it might....damn how on earths did my parents live like this? one trip to the next, hand to mouth? I can understand when I was young, you don't want a kid exposed to long trips out in the black in such a small ship.... but why not when I was older? Maybe it was just the thought of three of us cramped in this tiny ship.......*Audible sigh* anyway.
Gotta find a more profitable venture, the life insurance money my parent's left me will cover repairs or an insurance claim, barely, and that's if the Pilots Federation recognises my dad's licence and my claim to the ship. Need more credits so i can get my own ship.....hells, maybe two *Audible Laugh*
Right, I'm gonna hit the cot, got some shopping and research to do the next few days to work out how i'm gonna make this work.
