This is Great!
Well those runs were very profitable! Have been fulfilling trading commissions the last few days, literally just flying out to collect equipment that the camp needs for projects. It's been paying insanely well! Like more credits than I ever saw my parents make!
I nearly have enough funds with the recent commissions I've fulfilled for the Camp, but I can't make a purchase without first gaining the proper credentials. I need to find a way to gain a licence without admitting I've been flying without one. Spoke to a couple traders in Gernsback Terminal, They mentioned a local Anarchy system of Lalande 18115 - Lots of pirate activity, maybe some data broker or Hacker who could create a decent counterfeit?
I found the training modules in the ship's computers, have managed to practice my docking and general flying, should help make sure I don't raise any more suspicion. There's even a combat simulator in there, I did pretty well in the skirmish and wave defense, even if I do say so myself. May come in handy if I encounter any Pirates when i head out there.
Started meeting regularly with a few members of the camp, there's as couple brothers who are researchers by the names Joseff and Mikhail. Make for good drinking buddies. They also introduced me to CQC simulations. It's very popular in the Camp. Basically you fly a simulated Ship Launched Fighter or other small strike craft in a Dog fighting scenario. Turns out even without learning to fly with the Pilots Federation I can already beat most people here. There's a running leader board for the members of the camp, which i have been rapidly climbing.
Weirdly, when I returned to the Principium, I found a message from the dock authority that I have no clearance to leave the camp yet. I need to report to the dock enforcers on the next shift. I'm guessing maybe it's just a payment mix up, they did seem to pay very handsomely for what was a relatively easy job.
