First time met Broo Tarquin

I was interested in enginering pulse laser. From people around the space I found out that guy Broo Tarquin can make a decent job. So I found him. Man, I really dreamed about high damage and fast fire rate. But Broo is smart guy. "You don't know one thing, as I see. Pulse lasers has great damage falloff, which starts after 500 metres! So if you are firing between 3 - 1 km, your damage is significantly lowered. I really recommend you to make upgrades making falloff smaller and distance greater. This is the way which improves your damage". Well, he is smart guy, I have to say. It's obvious, that my ship is too large, lower manueverability and it's hard for me to keep distance 500 metres. But there is one catch. I will definitely need some manufactured material. I heard legends about Dav's Hope base. Abandoned mining settlement, with tons of manufactured materials without owner. I will try to look there, since I don't have any high grade materials to trade. Wish me best luck.
