The Formidine Rift - Long, treacherous, and mocking

For a month, maybe more I've been trying to cross The Rift. The trail originally blazed by CMDR Heisenberg6626 the famous Heisenberg Rift, is too far for my ship's 26.6 ly jump range. As I entered the rift, using the data from the Children of Raxxla the stars were forever out of reach. I would fly into dead ends with the next star simply hanging in space mocking me, like it knew it could never be reached. I considered turning back, but then I looked at my final destination: Hypoae Aescs YE-R d4-2 and I noticed it was surrounded by stars.
With some trial, error, and swearing, lots of swearing, I managed to find a way around the rift. This journey which I estimate is round 10k lys from my starting point at the beginning of the Heisenberg Rift seems to be coming to an end. I have around 3.5k lys before I reach it, but I have a good feeling about it. A bit of a buzz.

I'm not stopping to look at interesting things, I'm just powering through. What will I find? Aliens hopefully or more specifically an alien bubble, a whole civilisation. Possibly, we'll find a portal although I'm not sure I believe what the Children of Raxxla believe.
