Dear Mr Hodkin,
I'm happy to be able to report that Miss Caesar is now breathing steadily and unaided, and has therefore been taken off life support. She also regained consciousness earlier today, and has being communicating lucidly, although with some degree of disorientation. Her life signs are stable. As a result we've downgraded her condition from critical to fair, which is very good progress. I still can't permit any visitors for the time being, however.
The nanobots are continuing with their programmed surgery inside normal parameters. I'd just like to clarify about the Ro20. The nanobots do indeed carry the required dosage of the substance within them, as they have to make the journey along the vagina to the uterus and through the fallopian tubes to the ovaries. You are quite right in saying the dosage carried by the nanobots is in very small amounts. The thing is, there are 10,000 nanobots crawling around inside Miss Caesar, and the dosage carried by each one of those nanobots is very strong. Because of that, we're constantly having to inhibit Miss Caesar's allergy from kicking in by administering a counteragent. It's a bit of a balancing act, to tell you the truth, playing off one against the other. Too much counteragent and the refertilization treatment will fail. Too little and we've got anaphylaxis again. The good news is, the nanobots will have used up their allotted supply of Ro20 in another 48 hours time, so by then I expect Miss Caesar to be well and truly out of the woods.
Thanks for the compliments, mate. Much appreciated. I'll pass them on to Dr Schiller as well.
Regards,
Tom Standish-Lang, MD (gyn, obst)

Dear Dr. Standish-Lang,
Well, that's definitely good news, mate! And I had a feeling the Ro20 was going to cause some problems once you explained it all. I had no knowledge of sobriety pills' content so had no clue it might have affected her initially, keep the balance act going for my sake!
While I may not be able to visit, I plan on recording a message to send to her dataslate, y'know, familiar voice might just aid the recovery a little. I plan to pass on an update to her grandparents as well, to keep them informed and morale-boosted.
Cheers,
Sam Hodkin
