Hi Jem,
I meant to tell you something when you were at my cafe earlier. A merchant called Marcus Trelawney came in the other day. Took a great interest in my coffee, and gave me a free sample of some real exotic blend he'd brought in. Anyways, we got to talking about ships. I told him about my old Sidewinder that I keep for sentimental reasons, and that my other ship was a Fer de Lance.
He looked kinda funny, like he was remembering something. He said he'd once seen a Sidey with one of those blue stickers on it that says 'My other ship is a Fer de Lance'. I rolled about laughing, then told him that I knew someone who had that same sticker on her own Sidey.
Well, we put two and two together and soon figured out we were both talking about you. You should have seen his face when I said I knew you, and not only that, but you'd sat at the very table where he was now sitting....!
To cut a long story short, he asked me loads of questions about you. I did my best to answer. I hope you don't mind, but I reckoned I could trust the guy. I showed him a holo-image I have of you and he recognised you straight off, though he says he's never even spoken to you!
I didn't give him any contact details, though I did get the drift that he would really like to say hello. He's based at...Aia...Aia...now lemme see...Aiarabia? No, something like it, Aikbaka or some such place.
Oh, I did find out you have something else in common; he loves to dance! I know you told me you enjoy dance. He told me he used to be an officer on a space cruise liner, and said the officers had to be good at dancing to entertain the rich passengers who travelled. Turned out he liked it, even won a couple of prizes on Mars High.
Anyway, if you ever bump into him, thank him from me for the coffee. It's something else.
