19th September, 3301K-cast Recorded Federal Holo-Message from Major Lee Zhu
Miss Caesar,
This is Major Lee Zhu, commander in charge of Spedding City starport, Mannodava system. One of your friends, Nathalie Hudson, was brought into the station in a pretty alarming state. From the first status report that my team got on her ship - in heavy repairs at the time this message was written - she was in constant, heavy pressure of the Kumo Clan for the past couple of months. I do not even know how she managed to stay in one piece but, the time is not welcome yet to ask those questions.
Miss Hudson is in recovery process. She had bad tissue and bone damage, she might need some high technology medicine to fully recover. I asked her who she wanted to keep informed about her status, and your name came out, that is the reason you get this message.

Dear Major Lee Zhu,
I cannot tell you how happy I am to have received your message. I have been so worried about Nathalie ever since I learned she was Missing In Action, and I had feared she may have been killed. It is so wonderful to know that she is alive. I feel deeply honoured and humbled that she gave you my name to contact.
Strangely, Nathalie and I have never actually met in person, though we have exchanged k-cast comms messages. We had hoped to see each other at Sol, but unfortunately it was not to be, and I regret this very much indeed. In all truth, I have been thinking of Nathalie for the last few days, and I had begun to believe I would never hear of her again. This upset me greatly.
Please tell Nagita - that is, Nathalie - that I hope she makes a speedy recovery from her injuries. Tell her that she is in my thoughts. Tell her that I am praying for her to Our Lady Gaia. Tell her that I think she is a brave woman, and that I am proud to be her friend. Tell her that I am looking forward so very much to having that 'girls night out' we have talked about. And tell her that I am still envious of her beautiful red hair!
And please do give her my love.

As soon as I had sent the message I realised it wasn't enough, and decided to make the trip to Mannodava to see her in person. I felt bad about leaving Sam but, once I had explained everything to him, he was as understanding as ever.
On arrival at Spedding City I booked myself into a room. It was already quite late by Galactic Standard Time, so I resolved to contact Nagita in the morning.
