21st - 27th September, 3301 (Part One) My journey to Mannodava had been the longest single voyage I had yet undertaken, passing through fifteen systems on the way. Some I recognised as having visited before, such as LHS 3080, Zugen and Volungu. Others were new to me, and I picked up around 4000CR of stellar cartography data from them.
While crossing LHS 3080 to dock at Aubakirov Colony, I was interdicted by a Viper flown by a Competent-rated pilot. I won the lengthy battle, and collected almost 10,000CR bounty.
It was a relief to arrive in the Mannodava system. After docking at Spedding City I booked myself into a room and arranged the transfer of my luggage from the ship. The next morning I tried to contact Nagita at the station medicentre.
"I'm terribly sorry," said the blatantly unapologetic receptionist. "Information on the patient's location and status is classified."
Now what? I'd just travelled 145ly to see Nagita, only to be stopped at the final hurdle. Reaching for my dataslate to send a message to Sam, I saw Major Lee Zhu's name on the sender list. Perhaps he would be able to help...

Dear Major Zhu,
I would be very grateful if you could pass this message to Miss Nathalie Hudson, at the Spedding City medicentre.
Dear Nagita,
I have been thinking of you constantly since I received Major Zhu's message. I hope that you have been able to read my reply, but after I sent it I decided it was not enough.
Yesterday I came to Mannodava, in the hope of visiting you in person. The Spedding City medicentre would not confirm if you are in the facility. I expect this is for security reasons.
Please let me know if it will be all right for me to see you. I intend to stay in the system for a few days.

A whole two days passed. Sam called to let me know the warrant for his arrest had expired, so he was a free man. However, his cybernetic arm had been destroyed by Hudson's operatives. Fortunately Sam had managed to locally procure a replacement, complete with duplicates of his custom-built extras.
Meanwhile, I had almost given up hope of receiving a reply from the station commander when my dataslate beeped an incoming message alert.

Miss Caesar,
Your friend has received your message, and here is her reply. I have some information for you after you read it.

Hey Jem,
Major Zhu read me all of your replies, including the one prior to this message. He took care of me more personally as I thought, he told me that I have been placed under system's protection. He also said that if I'm out of immediate danger, we are still close to Kumo Clan's territory, and they might come to me as I'm close to their "grounds".
At the moment you came on Spedding City, I was out of it. They brought me to Mannodava 4 to have access on those healing pods. My body was way too injured to recover by itself so, I have to rely on nanotechnology. Right now I'm able to move, but I still need to use a crutch to walk. The doctors said to me that it will take some more healing pods session before I get rid of the crutch.
At the moment I was writing this, I was about to embark into a transporter. Major Zhu said to me that I would arrive at Spedding City later, and be authorized for visits. I honestly don't think this is the best moment we have to see you for the first time but, I'm still extremely excited about it, and... I just can't wait. All your support is awesome and you will have a huge hug for that!

First of all, Miss Caesar, as you may have understood from her reply, I read your message exchanges for security purpose. From our investigation, Miss Hudson is still on Kumo Clan's wanted list, that's why I have personally taken care of her safety during her recovery process. So messages need to be filtered, and that was necessary as the Kumo Clan sent messages for her.
Secondly, I have advised the station medicentre that you are to be granted access to visit Miss Hudson. She will be back on her ward at 19:30 GST. For safety purposes I must ask you to leave your weapons - if you have any - inside your vessel. I know, and Nathalie knows, that you do not wish to cause any harm at all, but I'm sure you can understand our precautions.
And lastly, I hope you'll enjoy your stay at Mannodava, despite the sad circumstances.
