Will Apotenile Survive These Wars?

The people of Apotenile may be forgiven for thinking they are cursed at the moment, with civil war replacing the finished war that claimed many lives and resulted in signifcant disruption to trade and the normal way of life.After significant military operations, the HR 783 Imperial Society decisively defeated Apotenile Future in a vicious war, and as a result control of Tilley Station, an outpost circa 800LS from the main star, passed to the Society. CMDR Stephen Gordon was seen many a time in the conflict zones at the helm of the INS Gopher and is rumoured to have collected several million credits in combat bonds.
Now that this war is over, a civil war has broken out for control of McIntyre Port, the primary station of the system. The Regulatory State of Apotenile, an Imperial faction, and the independent Apotenile Gold Power Industry are tied at influence level of 37% so there is no real leader at this stage. However, prominent members of the HR 783 Imperial Society have declared their support for the Regulatory State faction, adding some Imperial punch to the efforts. Whilst this war has only just started it would probably be a surprise if the Empire does not eventually take control of this system.
