Having started with only a single system presence, the HR 783 Imperial Society has went from an unknown backwater faction to a regional player, with a presence now in 9 systems and 3 directly under the faction's control. Challenges to their authority, such as the recent war in Apotenile that saw the Imperial Society rout the Apotenile Gold Power Industry and maintain control of Tilley Station, have been dealt with ruthlessly. Apotenile has been under the cosh in recent months, but the conflicts are all over and the Imperial Society has signed a permanent non-aggression pact with the controlling Imperial faction, the Regulatory State of Apotenile to prevent any more Imperial in-fighting.The HR 783 Imperial Society is currently experiencing an economic boom, with profits rising and unemployment falling to record lows across the region. However, a civil war is brewing in HIP 13410, a small military colony system where the Society has equal influence with HR 783 Advanced Industries. Whilst war can be good for business there are always risks as well. The Imperial Society is clearly on the rise and adding a military system would be a significant development in terms of overall capabilities for the faction. The future looks bright for the HR 783 Imperial Society, but what that means for this galactic region remains to be seen!
