Confusion in HIP 13410

There were conflicting reports being received on the fate of Makeev Base, the sole planetary outpost in the HIP 13410 system. With a civil war raging between the controlling HR 783 Advanced Industries and the HR 783 Imperial Society, a faction that is extending its tentacles across this region of space with a presence in at least 9 systems.The tide of the war has been moving in favour of the Imperial Society, with influence moving from a tie to the Imperials holding a 5% gain after the first few days of battle. However, whilst the war is still ongoing and skirmishes reported across the system, it would appear that control of Makeev Base has passed to the Imperial Society. Press reports from the sector are patchy at best so we await to see what has actually happened once the dust settles and the true situation can be ascertained.
