Bubbling Along from the Bubble to the Bubble

I'm starting to feel like exploration is my true call, but I have added issues in that, sadly, I feel a deep attachment to the HR 783 Imperial Society and struggle to be away from them for any period of time. I spent a month out exploring last time and came back when I saw them struggle and fall into civil war in the home system. However, my efforts paid off and the war was decisively won, with a retreat from a minor outlying system following as they consolidated. The Core 4 (HR 783, Tlapana, Medziojin and HIP 13410) are now secured, with the Society having influence over 50% in each of them and far away ahead of their nearest rivals so they seem safe for the time being.
The IES Seeker is now circa 2,500LY away from home on the latest expedition, Operation Deep Black. The first target is the Bubble Nebula, and we are circa 5,000LY away so still some time until we get there. We are starting to find more areas that haven't been explored before so progress is slowing as we look into interesting systems and planets. We found a nice metal-rich planet that was a small moon, it yielded quite a lot of material in just a short SRV journey before we headed off.
Who knows where to next after the Bubble, but I want this journey to be my signature mission. Just remind me not to check on HR 783 until it's all done and dusted and on way home, please!
