It's taken a while but I've finally got some time to collect my thoughts and see where I've got to since my gracious (!) uncle left me some of his stuff.After being a nomad at the start, I landed in the HIP 24777 system as it had a small Imperial faction that was struggling. Said faction is now within striking distance of controlling the system, a fine addition to the Emperor's dominion if I don't say so myself! I think I'm the only agent they have so I'm obviously working harder than I seem to think. I've not actually traded much, so it's been missions, and in particular mining that have got me and the faction to where we are.
As for the ships, I'm now the proud owner of an Asp Explorer that's kitted out nicely. I previously had most of the small ships, but after a few lucrative missions and assassinations I've sold the Cobra MkIII and Type-6 miner that I had in the fleet and put it all into the Asp, the IMPV Imperial Growth. She's a fine ship and likely to see combat soon once war breaks out in HIP 24777.
The engineers are also nice people, if a little weird! Been to a few of them and got my engines, shields and weapons upgraded but looks like I've still got plenty to go! Also just got my Achenar permit, nicely framed in my bedroom, so I'll likely be heading there soon to do some basking, maybe get some reward for delivering HIP 24777 for the Empire. We can but hope!
