coming to terms with the Lance

Despite all it's shortcomings I've found an arrangement for me and the Fer de Lance. First I had a wonderful build with quad pulses and a huge cannon, even sporting class 4 prismatic shields together with a class 5 scoop. But the damage was lackluster, the cannon didn't hit a thing. Dropping the "advantage" of the huge hardpoint, I settled for a beam there and quad dakkas for the mediums. Too powerhungry for the prismatic shield though, so it had to go for a regular class 5. Unfortunately that dropped the scoop to class 4, so scooping is a bore again with the hothead. But at least she eats enemies for breakfast now.
