Log entry number 6, I think. It has been a long day and my brain's running on empty. I've not slept in over thirty-two hours. Tiring though it may be, it's been very rewarding. I spent the entirety of my day seeking out this engineer known for her work on FSD modules. Her name is Felicity Farseer. Apparently, she has caught wind of me somehow and knew I'd needed upgrades for my ship. She sent me a message not too long ago asking me to meet her at her current base of operations. A facility known as Farseer Inc, located in the Deciat system. Man oh man was it a trip. Ay Indi's not exactly a stone's throw away from the Daciat system. I lost count of how many jumps I made but it had to be at least thirty.

Before she'd agree to help me work on upgrading my modules though, she needed me to bring her something. I guess she wanted to see if I was serious about working with her. It's understandable. I would not agree to work with someone for nothing too, especially if I knew nothing about them. She told me to acquire a single unit of meta-alloy and bring it to her. I have to say it was not easy to find one. I'd either have to buy one or find a way to mine it. The first option would have been the best. The second option would seem the unlikely solution. mostly because I did not have a mining ship with a good jump range, nor did I know the composition to manufacture meta-alloys.

I spent quite a bit of time jumping from one system to the next, looking for any stations, outposts, or fleet carriers that may sell the meta-alloy I needed. Though, to no avail. I had sent out a message on a public broadcast to enquire about obtaining one. Luckily, I got a response from someone with a rather cute alias, Commander Tigger. The name made me giggle, it amused me. Humor was appreciated out here in the black where things got rather dull and bleak most of the time. She told me that she had the meta-alloys I needed and would be happy to meet me just out of the orbit of the planet Farseer Inc was housed on. With that, I set myself on my merry way to meet her.

I jumped out of supercruise just out of Deciat 6 A's orbit. There, Commander Tigger awaited me. She greeted me politely and jettisoned the meta-alloy for me to scoop up. It was very kind of her to do so. I've added her to my list of notable contacts so I may pay her back in kind in the future. I'm not sure how I was going to, but I firmly believe that kindness should be rewarded. Not only had she given me the meta-alloy I needed, but she also gave me a lot of good advice on where to acquire materials for future module upgrades. I really do hope our paths will cross again.

So, now I had the meta-alloy I needed. It was time to visit Felicity Farseer. I locked in the coordinates to her base of operations and dropped into orbit, eventually gliding down. I had never seen quite a structure. To those who have not had the pleasure of visiting Farseer Inc. Let me tell you, It's magnificent. The structure is set bridging a large rocky cavern. It's honestly quite breathtaking. Looks like a super villain's lair you'd expect to find in action movies on holo-screens. Though, Felicity was far from villainous. She was polite and rather welcoming, in fact. I docked my ship and transferred the cargo over. She then invited me in to meet with her in person.

I disembarked from my ship once it had been lowered into the hanger space. I approached the lobby and in a room to the left stood quite a lively elderly woman. She greeted me with a smile and told me it was nice to finally meet in person and I nodded in agreement. I introduced myself formally and not too long after, we started discussing business. We walked around my ship for a moment, and as we did, she told me about what improvements could be made to my ship's modules. However, if I wanted upgrades I'd have to gather materials and gain a more solid social standing with her. I went through my inventory list and showed her what I currently had on hand and Felicity was kind enough to help me upgrade some of the modules. The improvements were minor but it was kind of her to help nonetheless.

From here on, I'll be spending the next few days, or weeks, or however long it takes to build more credibility with her and gathering the materials I need to fully upgrade my modules. This seems to be quite a step towards greater things. I look forward to building a relationship with Felicity and learning all that I can from her. I just hope she doesn't find me too annoying when I ask far too many questions to humanly tolerate.
