Just Another Day In Thargoid Occupied Space

It's been a few weeks since I first bought my fleet carrier and it has very much come in handy with my new job as a merc in the goid war. Being able to have a mobile base in which I can easily repair, refuel, and rearm all of my ships while I fight the alien invaders has been priceless, despite the price tag of everything involved. Bottom line, I have become reliant on The Iceberg and will do so for years to come, assuming I live long enough, of course. On the subject of my participation in this goid war, it has definitely been very financially lucrative for me. I have earned enough creds to finance upkeep for The Iceberg for at least two years, so no worries on that front. In addition, I have also earned the most amount of creds to keep in my personal account to date and that number will only continue to grow.
As for fighting these invaders, I have whacked countless numbers of scouts (they pop easily with AXMCs BTW) and a good number of Orthrus interceptors have been taken out, which accounts for most of my recent cred accumulation. These Orthrus interceptors are found on Thargoid Spire sites and appear to have been the target of AX hunters for some time, which is good for me as these groups tend to have a nice organized assault on these orthos, which suits me just fine since creds flow when they do this. Of course, you have the occasional amateur who will show up at these sites with nothing more than either turreted lasers or packhound missiles, neither of which work very well on goids in general. These CMDRs usually don't last long at this; they might if they bothered to do some research on how to conduct AX warfare. This conflict with the Thargoids has been ongoing for years now, which means there's plenty of intel to go on, but I digress.
Last, but not least, I have finally defeated my first few Cyclops interceptors singlehandedly. It is said that the sign of the true AX CMDR is one that takes down their first interceptor solo. Since I have done that, I guess I can call myself a AX CMDR? Either way, I'm in for the full haul. Now to assist with making a Titan run.
