Out in the black (again)

Yep i am yet again exploring the black, but this time landing on planets and walking around a bit, doing some scanning of plants (when i can find them) and learning what to do. My aim is to get Elite 2 in exploration within Odyssey (if the credits were transferred across i would be up to Elite 5 by now) so scanning all new systems (those that have not already been scanned) and then if any water world or Earth like world, doing a deep scan - thus getting more credits towards the next Elite stage. At the same time scanning plants, but i am still not sure what the deep scan shows in relation to actually landing in the correct place, saying that i am mostly finding stuff and getting first foot fall.
