It has become quiet on Vogel Port in Pech, the corridors are deserted. Cmdr Rac has retired, I don't know what happened to Cmdr Sansaru, but it's still too early to make a missing persons report.
At the moment I'm managing the faction alone. There are now 38 systems to manage. Of course, we're not aiming to control all these systems, but it's still a lot of work. All I can do at the moment is work through everything bit by bit. And new systems will be added in the future. To be honest, I don't know if I can do it alone. I'm in contact with Cmdr Rac, but he no longer has a head for politics in our systems. So I'll avoid asking him for advice if possible, even though he probably wouldn't mind.
I think we've taken on too much in the past and have too often been alone or had very little support with our squadron missions. Even the rest of the squadron leadership only very rarely took part in these assignments. And if you don't get any support, you burn out.
Then there's the war against the Thargoids, which has been raging since 29 November 3308. Cursed be Salvation with his madness to wipe out the Thargoids forever. Although the occupied and attacked systems are at the other end of the bubble, many of our pilots have gone to the front. So far they have all escaped, but I fear that at some point we too will suffer losses.
Be that as it may. I've put my planned expeditions on hold indefinitely. I'll take a look at the documentation for each system and then decide on the next step. One thing at a time. I'll do what I can. I can do it... Maybe...
