Colonia Bridge Aftermath

Colonia, January 15 3308Well, the last week was damn busy. It is Saturday now and I am barely feeling like I am catching my breath now.
Seems I did pretty well, all things considered.
I made a killing profit from selling those components for the bridge and at the same time had the satisfying feeling to help with an historic event. As I think this bridge between the two 'bubbles' of human civilization could probably also an opening for a wider network of galactic highways, that might allow humanity to move easier between the stars.
But I am an old dreamer. Maybe it is just that, a long overdue bridge into an important human territory.
Well, hearing from the problems they had with resources on the Colonia side I was tempted to and finally went through with the process of heading over to Colonia, selling a full carrier load of Thermal Cooling Units there. Preparing for the trip, announcing it on the Carrier Blackboard for Colonia trips, I was surprised by the reaction that caused as several other commanders joined my impromptu night trip over there. In the end events got a bit chaotic as we scrambled to get the carrier readied fast enough to be there before the deadline for the project ended.
The trip then took on a different note, as I had to endure a night full of carrier jumps, before we arrived with enough time left to easily sell our shipload and have some time to see if we could help the Colonian CMDR's with distributing the, clearly much more scarce, local resources.
Truth be told, after selling out my carrier the only thing I wanted to do was to get a good long sleep.
Now I think I will act a bit the space tourist, harvest some Tritium for the carrier and then have a look around the area before I leave for the Bubble again. Maybe visit some of the local engineers I heard about.
CMDR Vicia out.
