Captain's Log, date 10-17-3307.I said my next journal would be when I reached my next waypoint on the economical journey to Colonia. That... was a lie.
Once again, I found myself back in the Bubble. Heard through the GalNet about a galaxy-wide event going on, something about a bridge to Colonia. While I was too far out in the Black to participate in that, it was the global reward that really piqued my interest. I heard that the Brewer Corporation would be offering a significant discount on their Fleet Carriers and services. After running the numbers and checking my balance, I decided that this was a deal I couldn't pass up on.
As such, I now find myself in possession of a Fleet Carrier.
Daniela's Haven. The single biggest purchase I've ever made, and a testament to the time I've spent exploring. The name is very special to me, on a personal level. Not something I need to share or broadcast to the galaxy. But just know, it's a very big moment for me. Owning a Fleet Carrier was one of my long-term goals, and I wasn't expecting to get it this early.
That being said, I am finally, finally headed back on course. I've plotted a route back to where I was on my expedition to Colonia, and this time I can't think of any event that would tempt me back to civilization again. It's very strange that two community goals happened back to back which implored me to take a detour, but surely a third one won't happen, right?
Anyway, this time I'll be back on track, and there will be no distractions this time.
