CCC Day 8
09 Dec 2016Kayahr
After five days relaxing in the Lagoon Nebula we left Amundsen Terminal at 18:00 and set course in the direction of the next basecamp, Eagle's Landing. We skipped all three optional waypoints. The first one was too far out for my taste and I checked the location of the other two too late. They are already far behind us. Covered 2000 light years today and discovered several Water Worlds, two Earth-Likes and two Amonia Worlds. Eagle's Landing is just 800 light years away now so I guess we will arrive there this weekend. As usual I missed the events at the last basecamp. There was a spontaneous one this time one hour after my departure and I wasn't in the mood to jump all the way back. I really should try to wait longer at the next basecamp.
Ship and crew are doing well. Chaff launcher got some minor heat damage because I charged the FSD too early, nothing serious. Don't need this thing out here anyway.
Signing off,
