Tower: Docking clamps secure Commander, take it easy on the vertical thruster next time would you?

O’Brien: No promises control, pad needs texture after all.

Madden: Four assassination contracts in one run might be overkill [unintelligable, machanical noises].

O’Brien: Pun definitely intended, and yeah but they were all lower rank, our shields barely even noticed.

Madden: The gunfire was the least of our worries, you forgot to scoop until we hit Anlave again, we were down to 20%. Honestly Commander, you have to remember that the Nua isn’t a long distance bird like the Siuil.

O’Brien: You’re right, you’re right. Look, how about I treat you to some dinner before we head out again? Found a great little [audio unavailable, subject out of range].

[Mechanical whirring, door opens]

Shields: Commander, welcome back.

O’Brien: Thanks, uh, Advisor?

Shields: Sedona is fine, if you’re going to be basing yourself here for awhile I’d prefer we be more relaxed.

[Mechanical whirring, door seals]

O’Brien: Ah, okay, well O’Brien works just fine.

Shields: Very well, let’s get to business then shall we? You recently took on four, or rather six with the corrections... Six pirate assassination contracts at about a combined Competent rating. Those seem a little lackluster considering you’re looking at about a week before the Pilot’s Federation grants you Master if you choose your targets right, don’t you think?

O’Brien: Sure, if my goal was Master rating. Melissa and I are more focused on Federation goals than Pilot’s Federation rank. The targets were pirates harassing Federal merchants.

Shields: Right, forgive me. I didn’t mean to imply you weren’t doing great work, you definitely are. I simply wanted to suggest that People’s Anlave for Equality has better opportunities for a Commander of your stature.

[O’Brien sighs, dramatically]

O’Brien: Look if you have a higher rated job, post it on the board and we’ll take a look, it’s unorthodox at the leas-

Shields: This is the kind of job one doesn’t put on a public board, Commander.

O’Brien: So it's wetwork... again. You know I'm getting a bit tired of being asked to ruin an independent system's trade by killing civilians.

Shields: Espionage, O'Brien, of a sorts. No civilians. Purely about getting some information we need.

O’Brien: What's the rating?

Shields: Elite. The target is a very sensitive facility, heavily guarded.

O’Brien: A surface facility job? At an Elite rating? That's ridiculous. Who could possibly own the place?

Shields: I can’t tell you that here. If you accept you’ll receive the target once you’re en route.

O'Brien: So I go from independent pilot to need-to-know lackey in one contract.

Shields: There's more to it, in fact...

[13.7 second loss of audio]

O’Brien: I said fine, send the system to pad 41, I’ll handle it.

Shields: Your help is greatly appreciated...

[Mechanical whirring, door opens]

Shields:... Commander.

Madden: ...[still illegal (recording triggered)] Commander. A bounty is a bounty, regardless of who pays you to cause it.

O’Brien: It’s about another pirate, Mel. Same targets we always go for, they just don’t have the information to tie it all together. Either way, you’re not going to begin with.

Madden: Not going?! It’s Elite, Commander. You’re gonna what; pilot the Nua, fighter, and an SRV into a hell hole of pilots, skimmers, and turrets?

O’Brien: Well for starters, I’m taking Siuil. The AspX is better for silent running and landing. Plus I know her better remember?

Madden: Bullshit! You’re not taking an unarmed explorer...

O’Brien: Already loaded up the guns, and if I do it right I won’t need them.

Madden: Won’t... you’re unbelievable. I’m glad I’m not going now.

O’Brien: That’s the spirit. Just grab a drink and relax. I’ll be back before you know it and we’ll take out the target in the Nua.

[Elevator door closes]

Madden: Incredible. Time to look for another ship to crew I guess. No more commanders that’s for sure, and I heard low temp diamonds are the in thing now.
