Back in the Bubble, Flying a new ship

Thanks to a lift back to the Bubble from one of the FCOC commanders, I've returned and made my first stop Jameson Memorial in Shinrarta Dezhra. After so long it's easy to forget that I made Elite in exploration more than two months ago while I was just beginning my voyage to Beagle Point from Colonia so I hadn't had the chance to return. Not one to pass up an opportunity, I took the income I made from that journey to purchase and outfit my new flagship, SCG El Capitan. The iconic Faulcon-Delacy Anacdona is first large ship I've owned and I chose to name it after an equally iconic rock formation in the Yosemite Valley back in Sol. I felt that was appropriate as "El Cap," as it's been known for millennia, has been a crowning achievement for rock climbers who challenge its walls in a quest to summit and take in sweeping vistas of the valley below. It's a granite monolith, and so is my new ship in a way. Immovable, enduring and ready to impress.
