On the road to Xibalba

With a new season of exploration upon us, I've decided to keep my journey a bit closer to home than Salomé's Reach and head to Xibalba in my new Clipper. The 50 LY jump range is a bit of an adjustment from the almost 70 I can get in SCG Yosemite but the quarters are certainly an upgrade and the 7A fuel scoop is a godsend. Right now I'm making my way from the Outer Orion Spur to the Sanguineous Rim so that I can get to the base of the Xibalba arm and head out from there. It will likely be a few more days before I get to Xibalba but I'm looking forward to exploring a region named for the underworld realm that was so central to some of Earth's earliest spiritual traditions. If there's one place in the galaxy that has a name that makes me think ghosts may be real, it's this one.
