Following an abrupt ending to a broadcast on Imperial newsfeeds, a Galnet news article was released "Talk Show Murder Broadcast".
The article stated footage of an attack on 3 talk show hosts had been intercepted. The 3 victims were fired upon and their status unknown.
The status of the attacker is also unknown but authorities have released a digital calling card from the scene with the word: TFZIRQRL
Case assigned to Free Systems Council Scholars FSCS.
FSCS confirmed this word is encrypted with a Beaufort cypher using the key of "Z" and decodes as GUARIJIO.
Guarijio is an Imperial system with a single starport Arend Stop. A safe bet to start the investigation. The dockyard confirmed the last 24 hours have seen 1200+ ship IDs dock. The system also has 100+ fleet carriers currently dotting every body. Safe to say we are not the first on the scene.
It wasn't long before mention of listening posts being discovered orbiting the bodies 2, 3 & 4 of the B star.

The listening posts all orbit abandoned infrastructure where FSCS have been able to hack arrays with communication logs that seem to directly relate to the cryptic statements in the satellites.

The planet hosts the abandoned site "Vardey Prospecting" with the relating communication logs mentioned.
6 logs were recovered in total and each contains a brief account of 6 abducted individuals. All state their names, occupation and express confusion to their captors motives.
The final recording gives us the coordinates to B3b.

The abandoned site below "Goddard mill" had more hackable com arrays containing a kind of confession to potential crimes or dishonourable activity.
There is also mention of explosives being implanted in the base of each victims heads.
One account describes how the previous site only had 5 pods for the 6 victims, one individual admits using force against another to gain entry to a pod. The status of the left individual is currently unknown and presumed dead.

The last site "Downeys Junkyard" contained more hackable arrays found detailing how the last 2 victims were given a button and told 1 would be granted freedom.
They were given no more instructions and in the end 1 pressed the button killing the other.
The perpetrator seems to have been disappointed by the outcome and sent the final victim to the nearest star.
The trail ends here for now and investigations are ongoing into the victims lives for more leads.
