Cat's Paw Nebula Journey [10] - mushroom's incident

I opened my eyes. Bright light splashed my view. Slowly details became visible - I am lying in the bed. Many pipes and wires connected to me. Med-bot screen blinking with colors. I try to focus on that screen and now can see green-flashing writing "cleaning procedure completed"Only now do I realize I feel a heavy pressure near my chest - this is Alba laying upon me and purring.
I closed my eyes, start petting her which increased the sound, and with that, I fall asleep for a while.
Sometime later I woke up finally. I get up, disconnect med-bot connectors, and start recalling what happened.
I remember I land a planet where I found strange mushroom-like organisms growing over the vent or such. it was an unusual discovery and I tried to investigate that as close as possible.
I recall one of the "mushrooms" starting trembling and before I was able to do anything - it blow-up under my feet. I fell to the ground and my helmet glass immediately cracked causing the atmosphere and remainings of the "mushroom" to flow into my face. Emergency foam immediately fulfilled the helmet but it was late. luckily ship was very close to my location and I managed to board this blindly. AI identified the situation as an emergency and initiated a health reanimation procedure. I managed to get into my bed and before unconscious, I saw how the med bot start connecting needles and wires.
So this time I survived.
but lesson learned - I must be much more careful. next time this may finish much worse.
Nevertheless. I am continuing my journey back to the bubble, but not with the straight line but visiting different nebulas on my way. I already visited a couple of them, but those weren't that attractive as cat's paw nebula. so I just passed by them.
