Cat's Paw Nebula Journey [11] - Alba's night vision

How diverse and strange could be nature! For example.
Since the last journal update, I visited many planets in many systems that have about the same set of biological samples. That looks like some AI simulator created those planets! But then I found these two planets. Almost absolute zero temperature and deep darkness! About 8 thousand light seconds from the Star.
I even had to enable night vision to be able to see anything on the surface even on the "sunny" side. But still, I saw absolutely nothing - night vision just highlighted stones, cracks, and other geological stuff, but not nature.
But! After some time flying above the surface, I noticed Alba is reacting to something on the surface. She stares at some invisible to my eyes points on the surface very carefully and tracks them while the ship is moving on.
Of course! She is a cat! Night-time small predator!
I quickly applied corrections to the AI controlling night vision and immediately start seeing MANY biological points on the surface. They were almost everywhere!!!
Thanks to Alba I was able to collect the necessary data and rush away from that system to something more bright. Continuous darkness somehow distresses me.
