Landing gears covered with dust and scratches slightly creaked once the electromagnetic field catch them upon approach to the landing pad at the Coriolis station. AI went offline and an unusual for me voice of station control reports about landing procedure completion and welcomed me wishing me a good stay.Only a month passed since I left the bubble and headed my ship to the Cat's Paw nebula. But I have a feeling that much more time has passed.
I connected the ship's archive to the station's network, established a secure connection to the UAPF scientists department, and started uploading exploration and exobiological data. This will take some time. I collected information from about 300 star systems and more than 500 biological samples.
A few minutes after I established a connection with UAPF, I received a mail from that lady who asked for this expedition. Many warm thankful words were there. Also, she mention they sent me a brand new vibrant red Artemis suit as a reward confirming my rank in exobiology was improved to "Geneticist" rank. How sweet!!!
I enabled the ship's security protocol and let the station crew do routine maintenance of the ship. Meanwhile, I put Alba in the cat's transporting box and we went to the local bar. I bet the local bartender has some milk for her.
I will take some rest here while maintenance is in progress and once they finish - Alba and I will start a new journey. But this time on another vessel that will be more comfortable for the two of us.
