Well, that's that. While running final diagnostics on the ship, I got a message via the comms panel that my probation period with the Pilots Federation is over, and that a small sum of credits have been transferred to my account as additional thanks for services rendered during this period.I'm also advised to leave the PFD as soon as I can to be a "productive member of the PIlots Federation."
So that's it. I'm now a proper freelance pilot. While the delivery of the news was disappointing....

Father and mother and brother will be so happy to hear. The crew too! I can't wait, I'll go ping them right now!
